With two uniquely different showrooms, Living Lighting showcases the largest selection of lighting fixtures in Atlantic Canada. Our first location in Dartmouth opened its' doors November, 2004 with our second location opening February, 2008 in Halifax.
Between these two locations we are able to bring to our customers a vast array of lighting fixtures in styles and price ranges to suit personal tastes' and budgets, supported by strong value and expert service. Although you will find some product cross-over between our two showrooms, the mix of product styles varies greatly from one showroom to the other, ultimately giving our customers a much broader overall selection of the latest in fashion lighting and home decor products.
We opened our first showroom in Dartmouth in response to a need for a showroom dedicated solely to lighting in the area. Since then the business has grown, thanks to our loyal customer base and dedicated staff who virtually live and breathe lighting every day.

Cara joined the Living Lighting team in 2009. She has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the showroom. Cara has an extensive business background coupled with vast technical abilities. She is able to both educate and execute various renovations and projects with confidence. With a great eye for color and design elements, she introduces a fresh approach to all your lighting needs. Cara is always ready to roll up her sleeves and engage a project whether large or small with full attention to detail. Penny Guitard, Senior Sales Associate, Dartmouth
Moving back to the Maritimes after 18 years in Ontario, Penny joined the Living Lighting team when the Dartmouth showroom opened in 2004. Having worked in a lighting showroom in Ontario she has over ten years experience in the lighting industry. Penny is an ALA Certified Lighting Consultant and is the Senior Sales Associate in our Dartmouth showroom. With her extensive lighting background, memory for detail and priority to provide an exceptional level of customer service, Penny has developed an impressive contractor and retail customer base.

Jamie Barnes-Deveaux, Sales Associate, Dartmouth
Jamie has been a vibrant member of the Dartmouth Living Lighting team since early 2008 and shortly after became a Certified Lighting Consultant. His passion for interior decor is shown in every lighting consultation from a single fixture to an entire house of lights to multi-unit installations. With a love of studies into current and upcoming trends, as well as many technical issues, Jamie loves to educate both customers and coworkers alike.
Jamie's extensive background in the arts is evident in his eye for color, shape, and form. He loves to work with clients to provide the perfect lighting fixtures to match their own style, decor, and budget, be it very traditional, ultramodern, or anywhere in between.

Jane Hastings, Sales Consultant, Dartmouth
Jane recently joined the Living Lighting team as a lighting consultant. She has several years experience in the lighting design industry, working with both contractors and clients to find solutions that meet their individual needs. Jane's enthusiasm is evident when meeting new people, ensuring all of her clients are completely satisfied.
In her spare time Jane likes to spend time outdoors, working in her garden and reading. Her family and friends enjoy it when she shares the "fruits of her labour" as she is an excellent cook/baker, and she likes spending time in her kitchen.

Lauren is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree as a full-time student at Saint Mary's University. Christine is the youngest member of the Living Lighting team working part-time for the past year during school at our Halifax location.
